Supplements SA is a Port Elizabeth based supplement company formed in August 1999. From the outset the objective has been to supply high-quality, cutting-edge supplementation to the bodybuilding, gym and sports industry in general at affordable prices. A conservative expansion strategy has nevertheless seen Supplements SA take a dominant share of the Eastern Cape market by December 2004. In addition significant inroads have been made into the Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban market.

The company sponsors numerous athletes in all disciplines. Nationally, directly assisting these sportsmen and women in achieving top performance criteria.

The company is also involved in social responsibility programmes including sponsorship of Itembilihle High School in Port Elizabeth. The school, despite meager resources now competes on even terms with all the top rugby schools in South Africa.

The owner of the company and product designer, Ewan Kromhout, has a M.B.A. cum laude behind his name and his sporting achievements include provincial table tennis colours, South African chess colours and 1986 winner of the Eastern province arm wrestling championships. Co–owner, Chris Herselman, is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
